Composer’s Thoughts
We only get one life. I know there are several songs with similar themes, but each one does so in a unique way and tone. Where a song like Dead Man’s Pockets uses dark imagery, this song talks about living a life facing forward and not dwelling on the past. Remembering the past is fine. Living in it, is not.
James’ Thoughts
What a fun ride this song was, if you’ll pardon the pun. The only thing more fun was when I got to see the music video. HOLY CRAP you guys have to see that thing. I am not kidding. After the first chorus, it takes a sharp turn (more car puns) you can’t miss.
