Life is hard. There’s no doubt about that. But at the end of the day, happiness is not something that depends on what’s going on around you… it is a choice you make. As someone who struggles with clinical depression, this is a message I have to tell remind myself daily. You cannot buy happiness. Others cannot give it to you. You must make the conscious choice to BE happy.
