About Nostalgic Tones

What is Nostalgic Tones?

Nostalgic Tones is a musical artist collective centered around a single composer, lyricist, and producer. The focus is on music, vocal artists, storytelling, and entertainment across a wide variety of styles.

Is Nostalgic Tones a band, a label, or a musical collective?

Nostalgic Tones is best described as a musical artist collective. It brings together different artists, groups, genres, and voices under one creative vision.

Who is the Composer behind Nostalgic Tones?

The creator prefers to remain anonymous under the name Nostalgic Tones or Composer. That choice keeps the emphasis on the music, the vocal artists, and the overall collective rather than on one public personality.

Why does the Composer remain anonymous?

The Composer wants listeners to focus on the songs, the artists, and the stories behind the music. Nostalgic Tones is built around the idea that the work should speak louder than the individual behind it.

What does “Many voices. One vision. One goal: entertain!” mean?

It means Nostalgic Tones uses many different voices, artists, genres, and perspectives, but the creative purpose is unified: to make music that entertains, connects, and gives listeners something memorable to enjoy.

How are artists from different parts of the world able to collaborate?

The artists are from all over the world, and modern technology allows the collective to create and collaborate as if everyone were in the same room.

Artists and Credits

Why do some songs credit a group instead of individual members?

When a song is released as a group performance, the album and song pages show the group name as the lead artist. Individual members may still show the song in their artist discography where appropriate.

What does lead singer mean?

The lead singer or lead group is the main credited vocal artist for that song. Album pages focus on lead singers or group names only, not backup singers or cameo appearances.

What does backup singer mean?

A backup singer contributes supporting vocals, harmonies, call-and-response, or echo parts. Backup singers can appear on artist pages, but they are not treated as the lead artist on album track rows.

What does cameo or appears in mean?

A cameo or appears-in credit means an artist appears visually in a video even if they are not a lead singer on the song.

Videos

Where can I watch Nostalgic Tones videos?

You can browse videos on the Videos page or through individual video pages.

Why are the videos not all available on all platforms yet?

They will be. TikTok tends to be the most updated source, and we are rolling out on the others. YouTube rollout hit some snags due to their copyright protections blocking the songs from our artist pages. Stay tuned as these become fixed.

Why are the videos AI? Are the people fake?

The cost of music videos is astronomical, and we frankly cannot afford to both produce music and videos at that scale. We are a small publisher. Furthermore, the artists are from all over the world, so it would be logistically and financially impossible to bring them together to make videos. It would also greatly slow down production.

The videos are a way to provide a visual means of promoting the music on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, and are not a source of revenue. As such, we hope you will allow us to entertain you, because even the AI videos are not free, but quite costly to make.

Why do some video links say Coming Soon?

Some videos are still being rolled out across platforms. If a link says Coming Soon, that means the page exists but the specific platform link is not live yet.

Are video pages different from song pages?

They use the same approved format, but video pages place the video section before the streaming section. Song pages place streaming first.

Streaming and Platforms

Where can I stream Nostalgic Tones music?

Individual song pages include direct streaming links. You can also browse by album or song title to find a track.

Which streaming platforms are supported?

Song pages highlight Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, and YouTube Music, with a dropdown for additional platforms when available.

Why do some streaming links say Coming Soon?

Some platforms take longer to process or publish releases. Coming Soon means the song exists in the catalog, but that specific platform link is not live yet.

Can I stream directly from the website?

The website sends you directly to the supported streaming platform for each song. The site is designed as a catalog and discovery hub, not as its own streaming service.
