Behind the Music

Composer’s Thoughts

First off, I will have to provide the only feedback because they are notoriously silent about their answers. So let me say that when I was able to work with a DJ duo it was such a cool experience. It’s not exactly in my normal wheelhouse and I have very little experience even going to clubs. So they have also proven to be helpful on other tracks as well to bring a different dimension to my works after this. The thought germ behind the lyrics and theme of this song came about as a bit of a joke between me and someone else. How some people always seem to have an excuse not to go out. There’s always a reason. Eventually people get fed up and give up trying. So I went through every type of “ache” you can think of with the consequence being heart ACHE in the end.
